Frequently Asked Questions

We cook locally in a commercially licensed kitchen and are regulated by MDARD. We offer delivery and pick-up options, with clean labels, secure online payment, clear ingredients, friendly support, and minimal commitment. We don’t use preservatives or additives in our meals.

Just heat and eat. High-quality, portion-controlled meals that come in microwaveable, freezer-safe containers.

We shop, cook, clean up, and deliver.

According to the SBA, for every $100 spent at a local business, roughly $68 stays within the local economy. Small business owners live and work in their communities, hire locally, pay local taxes, and produce unique products and services. All of this contributes to a more robust, vibrant community.

We source ingredients only from suppliers that are bonded, insured, and have protocols in place to ensure the safety of our customers.

Our stand is to provide our customers with the best products that we can. We use authentic Basmati rice and ghee for our Indian Fusion meals, along with fresh spices.

If you have allergies, PLEASE make sure to review the meals before ordering. All recipes are thoroughly scrutinized for allergens, and ingredients are clearly indicated on the labels.

We have search filters for that, of course. You can order meals minus your food allergies, preferences, or sensitivities easily. Go to our menu and use the convenient filters to search for dairy-free, gluten-free, nut-free, shellfish-free, soy-free, and wheat-free meals and snacks.

Our kitchen does process recipes containing dairy, eggs, tree nuts, wheat, peanuts/tree nuts, soybeans, sesame, fish, and shellfish. Items may contain or come into contact with known allergens.

Note: Sauce Nutrition Facts

Our dipping sauces are all made in-house.

Sometimes, our meals can be free of allergens by putting the sauce on the side. So this is super helpful for those of you who are dairy-free.

Everyone has different caloric goals. If you need more calories or more flavor in the meal, add the sauce. Not a fan of the sauce? Perfect, and that’s why it’s on the side.

Side sauces are not included in meal nutrition facts.

Our prepared meals are made fresh from scratch. They are never frozen.

Our meals are fully cooked to safe internal temperatures. All you have to do is reheat them in the microwave or oven.

Containers are microwave-safe, freezer-safe, BPA-free, dishwasher-safe, reusable, and recyclable.

Remove any soufflé cups containing sauces before heating.

Microwave Heating:

Pop the lid open on one corner, place in the microwave, and heat for approximately 2–3 minutes. Cook in additional 30-second increments if needed and allow to sit for a minute before eating.

Oven:

Remove any sauce cup, then transfer meals to an oven-safe container and heat at 350°F for about 10–15 minutes.

Meals should last about 7 days. All of your meals are labeled with a “Use By” date so you can be sure.

Though not recommended, you can freeze meals and they are good for 3 months in the freezer.

We do not recommend freezing the meals. If you do not expect to eat a meal in the first 3–4 days, you can freeze it.

Once frozen, there is no need to thaw meals before reheating. Just heat for 3 minutes in the microwave and stir contents halfway during heating.

Some sauces do not freeze well, and uncooked greens like salads should never be frozen.

At this time, our meals are made “as is” with no modifications or substitutions allowed.

For custom meals, please consider ordering our bulk and à la carte food options.

We ask that you leave a cooler at the drop-off point to maintain the food temperature if no one is available to take delivery.

When your order is delivered, unpack your meals and slide them right into your fridge. That’s it.

Our meals are intended to be enjoyed fresh for optimal quality. Although you can freeze your meals, we do not recommend freezing.

Note: Meals are fresh and delicious for at least 7 days after delivery, and there is a “Use By” date printed on each package.

Meals should be stored at or below 41°F.

Salads cannot be frozen.

We deliver our meals in sturdy paper bags that are held in coolers during transport. Transfer the meals to the fridge immediately.
